Instrumentation Laboratory (IL) is a leading developer, manufacturer and distributor of in vitro diagnostic instruments, reagents, controls, consumables and services for use primarily in hospitals and clinical laboratories. Our products include critical care, haemostasis, autoimmunity, clinical chemistry, automated urine microscopy and laboratory data management

Our history is one of landmark discoveries that benefit patients and medical professionals. Founded in 1959, we were the first to develop and patent a centrifugal analyzer; we led the way with enhanced solid-state fluidics; and we invented CO-Oximetry. In pursuit of other breakthroughs, we maintain a vigorous program of research and development.
By combining our research and expertise with the strengths of our strategic partners, we are able to assemble and distribute products that are reliable, simple, and strong. We achieve quality above and beyond the industry standard. And our approach integrates instruments and training with access to the corresponding reagents, supplies, laboratory information systems, and nonstop support services.
