Calibration Plasma
Intended use: For the calibration of IL’s ACL and ELECTRA Coagulation systems in the determination of PT, Fibrinogen, Single Factors, Antithrombin, Protein C, Protein S, Plasminogen, Plasmin Inhibitor, VWF Antigen, VWF Activity, Pro-IL-Complex and Hepatocomplex. It is used as normal reference plasma for the determination of APTT and Thrombin Time (TT). The reference values are related to the particular batch (Lot. No.) of the Calibration plasma.
Principle: Prepared using pooled citrated plasma from healthy donors.
Standardization: Values are traceable to the standards supplied by the National Institute for Biological Standards and Controls (NIBSC) according to the WHO recommendations.
